Preheat. Set your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes.
Arrange the kievs. Place the frozen chicken kievs in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket, as this will prevent the air from circulating and result in uneven cooking.
Use a tray (optional). To prevent the garlic butter from leaking into the bottom of your air fryer, you can place the kievs in a foil tray or silicone mold.
Add oil (optional). Frozen chicken kievs are often pre-oiled, but a light spray of olive oil can help achieve a crispier finish.
Cook. Air fry for 15–20 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking. The exact time can vary depending on the thickness of the kievs and your specific air fryer model.
Check for doneness. Before serving, check that the internal temperature has reached at least 75°C (165°F) using a meat thermometer. Be aware that the filling will be very hot.
Rest and serve. Let the kievs rest for a few minutes before cutting into them to allow the juices to settle
